Geohot was right: “don’t buy from Sony”.

I love my WH-1000MX3, but if you want to buy original replacement ear pads for these you have to pay $300.

Like what? Brand new MX4 costs less than that. How is it even possible Sony?

Having Bose headphones you can buy their accessories for a reasonable price even if you need something from 2016.

With the replacement ear pads from Amazon, performance has worsened, even after (not) having fun with the equalizer…

This is very sad. Sony probably lost a customer.
